This is a village near the town of Yeji on the shore of Lake Volta
Behind us is where we wait to catch the ferry to cross over Lake Volta and then travel on to the city of Salaga
It is here that we arrived, after leaving out at 5:00 AM from Tema on the coast and traveling 500 miles inland to the shore of Lake Volta arriving around 4:30 PM. The problem was we missed the ferry boat as one of the diesel engines was not running properly. We had to travel for one hour back the way we had come to another town to find a place to stay for the night.
